Name/Alias: Roy ”Sunshine”
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Species: Humanoid
Occupation: Pirate/Captain
Appearance: Sunshine is a typical inmate in body structure, he’s a litte higher than the most others, about 6,4 feet high, what in centimers would be 195cm. He has a welltrained body, except the legs, they’re not very trained thanks to the many years in prison, though he has no problem running if he’s in serious problems. Roys upper arms is like watermelons, big, hard and terrifying, people would have no problem figuring out where he have spent the most of his life. His face is harsh and symbolizes something which can only be described as sorrow and pain, but that’s only untill you make him laugh, when he laughs or smiles he will show all the white teeths in something looking like a grin, from one ear to another. Sunshine has been lucky and has only smaller scars around the body from several fights, but not any in the face, most on the knuckles and hands, which shows he’s either a lucky man, or a really good fighter. Sunshine is called Sunshine because of his blonde hair, he has eyes so blue that they nearly shine.
Personality: Sunshine has a divided personality, on one side, he wants to do good, to help, to reform the world and spread justice, on the other hand Sunshine has got enough of the world. After several years in prison he’s hardened, and he knows that if he has to finance a personal revolt, he will need money, money which he earns as a pirate. Sunshine is a guy you can trust, he sometimes breaks his word, everyone does that, but he tries to keep it as often as possible. Sunshine isn’t the man you would expect to help an old lady safe over the road, but if he saw an old lady who couldn’t get over the road, the first thing he would do, would probably be to help her over the road. When he isn’t ”working” or is provoked by somebody, he can distance a little to all this violence which characterizes his kind of life. That means it depends of the situation you meet him in, if he will be a gentleman or simply just fire a bullet to your head, without even feeling bad over taking another person’s life.
Background: I was born on Patria, many years ago, as far as I reckon 29 years. My family was neither rich or poor, we were skilled craftsmen, even though we were humanoids, but that was only because that we were one of the few who had the rights to this craft… We crafted weapons, and we did well, my father was specialized in light-medium heavy handguns, my grandfather made machineguns of any kind the costumers wished. Myself I was beginning to understand how to build a gun, and build more simple guns, but then it happened… I don’t know if I have told you about my politic beliefs? I’m against our government, I think we should have some kind of government, were the peoples voice also was heard, instead of the voices of men with a great army. But when I was 16, I had actually just turned 16, I participated in a demonstration against the government, it was peacefully though some of us had hidden some guns and brought them, unfortunately the army attacked us and splitted the demonstration, none of us even got a chance to fight back, people runned and I was thrown to the ground, where I passed out, when I woke up, I was in cuffs and my face was bloody, not my own blood. The blood of the crowd, that was when I began to realize, nothing could or would ever change this world, you just had to get the best of it. The government couldn’t really keep me, but they did, they charged me for bringing a gun, disorderly conduct, violence and even claimed that I shot one of their soliders! The only thing I had done was bringing a gun. I was sentenced to death, but some high-ranked officer or judge, whatever, pardoned me, and resentenced me to lifetime in jail. Life in jail was hard, luckily some of the other inmates felt bad for me and made sure that I wasn’t harmed by the bullies in the jail, though I still had a hard time, as one of the young guys, so I had to gain the respect of the others, therefore I used all my time out of the cell in a whole year training in the gym, thereafter I started using lesser time, until I only used half of my time in the gym, the rest I used to assemble some kind of a gang, we did whatever that was necessary to get power and respect.. Soon the other inmates started calling me “Sunshine” every respected inmate had a nickname that referred to them. I have blond hair therefore they called me sunshine. In my gang, I was the one who had been imprisoned for the longest time, about 5-6 years when my gang first started to get known inside the walls. I only recruited guys who also had lifetime or death sentences to my gang, I knew that others would just make problems for us, when they got out, because we had no actual power outside the walls, and as years passed by, the jail ended up being tougher and tougher, people started to kill each other sometimes they even killed guards, and that was what there now where required to survive in the prison, so my gang also started killing our enemies, and we did it without hesitation, which ended really bad up for my gang, one day about 30-40 guards stormed our cells and cuffed us, we were dragged out in a smaller transport ship, all 6 of us, there were two cells, so three in each cell, we knew that we were going to Patria, to the court to get our death sentences, but the guards had forgot something, we weren’t the usual inmates, they couldn’t bully us around, we stood our ground, if we died, it would at least not be in the jail, we would die with honor. We had already prepared for this scenario and knew how we could get the guards attention, as far as we had counted there were three pilots and eight guards aboard the ship, what we did was, pretending that we started fighting in both cells, so when the guards came to stop us, they accidentally opened both cells, we fought for our lives, while they only fought for their payment, we killed three guards with our hands, our bare hands, before we had the ship under control, the surviving guards we threw overboard in space after taking their equipment, as we only had one man who knew how the ship was working we had to keep the pilots a little. We were merciful and we spared their lives, so they could tell the world about us. We were free, after years of imprisonment; we knew what we would do for a living… Piracy.
Kin/Companions:
The Vultures, known for raiding government ships.
Nine-Finger, a crewmember of the Vultures, their best pilot and the Second Mate (former rebel pilot, who got jailed).
Other Information:
The Vultures is a small crew, they have 7 active members and some spies in different places, who give them information. The government is aware of it, they just don’t know who their contacts is. The Vultures are all, with no exception (so far) former inmates, who either are freed from transport ships or a part of the original gang. The Vultures are brave men who rather talks with their gun, than talking, if talking is needed either the first mate or the captain leads the word on the crews behalf.
