It was a rare thing that Fergus delivered his creations to his customers. This time had been one of the exceptions though. He only personally delivered the weapons to a small number of customers. All customers with a few things in common, they payed him for his traveling expenses, they had respect for good craftsmanship regarding weapons. And lastly and most importantly counted themselves among Fergus's good friends. The delivery had gone smoothly and the rebel captain had gotten his handheld gun and the new cannon for his ship mounted. Fergus smiled to himself as he walked through the town. It had been a nice reunion with his friend and thus even the rain could hardly ruin his mood. Still he was soaked, luckily his bag kept his clothes and other traveling gear dry. He looked around as he walked on, would be nice if he could find a bar or restaurant of some kind where he could wait the rain out. He walked on for a roughly twenty minutes when he spotted the sign of the bar Viva Da Rosa. Speeding up his walk he soon reached the bar and entered.

Viva Da Rosa was far from full that rainy evening, yet it wasn’t completely empty either. There was a few people, most of them clearly taking refuges from the weather. As another wet refugee entered the place, Tali send him a warm smile for welcome. She has set up a clothes tree next to the door, and now nodded towards it ”Welcome Sir. Hang your coat and get warm” she said. Several wet coats were already hanging there, dripping unto the cloth that had been places underneath the clothing tree, to prevent the floor from getting slippery. Tali was in her normal work uniform. Black trousers and a white shirt and a black vest with small red stripes. The stripes almost disappeared against her deep purple skin though.

Fergus had entered the bar, he smiled at the Q'sik bartender and hung his coat on the Hallstand next to the door. He had been wearing a trenchcoat, a shirt and a pair of trousers. All his clothes were well crafted and fit him quite well albeit now his clothes were wet and clung to his form. He turned towards the bartender with a grin, "Hell of a weather right" He halfway adressed the whole bar, halfway he only adressed the Bartender as he crossed the room towards her. "Tell me my fair young lady is it possible to get a good warm meal here while i wait the rain out or will i have to make do with some kind of tasty or strong drink?" Fergus spoke with a large wide grin. A smile which helped him many time during his university years with various situations.

Tali send a smile around the room as different replies of agreement was given to the newcomer’s statement. ”At least we haven’t seen anything of that thunderstorm there’s been so much talk about!” she replied herself. Tali returned his grin with a little warm smile of her own. ”Well, it must be your lucky day today, because I can get you both” she answered. He seemed like quite the charmer, she had to admit. But if it was genuine or just to get a discount or abit of both she couldn’t tell. Not right away at least. ”Today we got a nice warm soup and a pork and carrot stew. In the liquid department.. Well, make your pick!” she said with a gesture to the wall behind the bar, where the bottles stood like on parade. ”I can recommend these ones, from the local brewery” she added pointing to three nearly identical bottles.

"A thounderstorm you say" he spoke, then laughed heartily "My lucky day indeed it seems, a good hot meal, a drink and no thunderstorm, can a man ask for more" he winked while he eyed the bartender up and down. The Q'sik beauty he had heard so much about clearly wasn't over exaggerated, this was actually the first time he spoke to one personally. What she was doing in a bar like this amongst humans was probably an interesting tale. "Well i would like to order a portion of the soup and the stew. And drink, hmm i would like to try one of the local brews then. Which one tastes best with stew?" He felt attracted to her, not an unpleasant feeling just misplaced. Considering who he were, who she was and that he didn't even know her name. Well it was a rather long time since he had slept with a woman, and as all Q'sik's she was rather beautiful. He pushed the tought from him again hid it behind his hunger.

”One of each, coming up” Tali confirmed and grabbed a glass before taking the middle bottle down. ”Defiantly this one” she stated and poured him a glass and placed it before him. ”It’s from late last year. It’s rather sweet, made on cherries, but strong in flavor” she smiled at him ”Should be perfect with the stew, which I’ll go get for you straight away” she added before heading out back.
Funny enough, Tali was very unlike many Q’Siks. She was very upfront, and not at all flirtatious. There was a certain ‘girl next door’ charm about her, but it was clearly that she didn’t take much advantage of it.
It didn’t take more than a minute before Tali returned with a small wooded tray between her hands. On it was too bowls, one with soup the other with stew, and a little plate with some bread on it. She unloaded the tray and placed the foot in front of the newcomer ”There you go!” she said with a warm smile before putting the tray away under the bar.
She went off to serve the other customers, but it wasn’t long before she returned. ”You’re not from around here, are you? –if you don’t mind me asking”

Fegus took a small sip from his drink, "Mm its good, a little sweet. But good" he took another sip while he waited for his food, actually the drink was a little too sweet for his tastes but on this particular day it was a great drink. "Thank you, looks good" Fergus exclaimed as the Bartender put down his food in front of him. He imidiately dug in, and begun dipping a slice of bread in the soup soaking it then eating it slowly without haste. He looked at her as she returned "True enough im not from around here. I live on Patria, i have just been visiting this place conducting some busines with a friend of mine. Names Fergus Alcairns by the way. But if i might i would like to ask you the same question are you from around here? acording to my knowledge, which isn't perfect i know but its quite rare to find a Q'sik around here isn't it? i thought most Q'sik Patria"

Tali smiled ”Thought so. You don’t find many people as well-spoken as yourself around here” she said with a slight laugh. It was no secret that Patria was more civilized than Sukilti. ”And it’s true, I’m not originally from around here. I’m not from Patria either though, but Vetusolum”. Had he been a local, she would have left out the last part, and let him believe whatever. But this guy was from Patria himself and leaving him to believe she was too, could quickly get awkward. Besides, a Q’Sik from Vetusolum was an even rarer sight, and this guy seemed like he was one to enjoy good stories. ”Born and raised there, but I’ve been living here for a few years now” she added. She saw that he had dug pretty well into the food and smiled ”Hope it’s too your liking! And if the brew is too sweet for you, you can always try something else”

Fergus laughed heartily once again drawing antention from the rest of the customers, "So my polite maner of speech gave me away huh? Guess thats the effect living on peaceful Patria have on people like me, but still who would have guessed" he still chuckled a little until he raised an eyebrow questionly "Vetusolom you say ive been to Vetusolom a couple of times must admit i have never seen a Q'sik there and i have been around, care to share the tale young miss....... what was your name again?" once in a while while he spoke he paused for a second to take another bite of his bread. He shook his head slightly "I will try a different drink later in the evening" A slight smile while he finished his soup

”Tali” she said as if repeating herself and smiled. ”It really isn’t as exciting a tale as you might think Fergus” she started with a small sigh ”A human couple found me in the wild and raised me as their own. I was the only Q’Sik living in town, but others traveled through from time to time so there was nothing mysterious about what I was or anything” she told with a shrug but then smiled ”Being the only Q’Sik was nothing really at least not compared to being the only girl my age!” she added with a small grin. Of sheer habit, Tali picked up a glass and started polishing it. ”But I’ve never been to Patria. What’s it like there?” she then asked. Tali had told him something about herself, to satisfy his curiosity, but in the end, most people really just wanted to talk about themselves and that was more than fine by her. Her life would sound like something from a novel to most, but parts of it wasn’t something she wanted to share with anyone.

Fergus had by now finished his soup and moved on to the stew. "Can't imagine what it would have been like being the only girl, never had that many kids my age around me in my childhood anyhow" he smiled a little. Chewing while he thought about her question. "Whats Patria like huh, well its the most advanced city. Large looming people everywhere. Noisy, police everywhere as expected of the governments seat of power. Low crimerate, nice place to live i guess. Beautiful if one likes the sight of technology. He took another bite "I would recommend visiting Patria sometime if you can, its quite different from both Sukilti and Vetusolum" He fixed his gaze to her "Say would you say you had a happy childhood despite being the only Q'sik and the only girl your age?, and if i might ask how did you end up here?" a few moments later he shifted his gaze back to his food "If its too personal of a question coming from a stranger you have only just met its okay if you don't answer"

Tali put the glass she was polishing down a moment and removed the soup bowl, before picking the glass op again and continuing. ”Sounds like a beautiful place. If I ever get the chance, I’ll take your advice and go see for myself” she said with a slight nod. Tali let out a warm laugh as he averted his gaze. ”It’s quite alright. No harm done in asking! And yes, I did have a very happy childhood. As your other question goes, I simply decided to leave one day, to go out and see what else there was to see. I went abit one way and then the other, until I ended up here” she said. Though it was not the entire truth, it was the version she had been telling people for years and even her boss didn’t know any better than that. ”But it sounds like you travel quite a lot! Business going good huh?” she said with a smile slightly aslant.

Fergus smiled a little while examining her face after a few seconds he downed his drink, laughing a little. "Its been quite a while since last time i traveled actually. I traveled quite a lot when i was a child. But well i actually am on Sukilti because of a part buisness deal part to visit a friend, but yea i guess my buisness is going quite well." He actually rarely thought about how his buisness fared since he had enough customers and earned quite alot of money. "In the circles of my customers i am quite famous i actually i believe, actually maybe a little outside those circles too, but mostly by name and not face"

Tali smiled warmly ”yeah? Must have been very exciting seeing so many places” she said with a slightly dreamy voice. She had thought of seeing the world more than once, but never got around to it. The possibility of him returning to find her while she was away always killed any serious plans of going away for more than a few days. ”Not bad! What is it you do for a living, if you don’t mind me asking?” she asked interested. Her interest was genuine too. That was one of the great things about Tali. She was straight forward enough to not fake interest, not even to please the costumers.

He laughed a little "Well my mother thought so atleast, she could never live in the same place for long until she had to move on to a new place" he took another mouthfull of stew, a thoughtfull look on his face as he chewed "Actually i haven't really given it much thought, its just the way its allways been for me since i was quite young, the experiences have come in handy in my adult years true enough though Having traveled to many different places having an idea of the kind of culture you are entering, of languages and such handy knowledge when traveling" He took another mouthfull of stew, chewed on it. "My proffesion is not a secret. I am an inventor, a weapons inventor to be exact i craft and repair them too but thats mostly for the money to be honest, It is evenly my proffesion and hobby actually" Fergus had begun speaking slightly faster, and his expression showed that his proffesion was something he was quite passionate about, and something he took not just a little pride in.
